What is U-M acquiring?
The University of Michigan is investing in a dramatic expansion of one of the world’s most robust research campuses through our purchase of the former Pfizer campus in northeast Ann Arbor. The acquisition completed on June 16 and will kick our growth plan into high gear. This purchase will bring economic benefits for both the University and the surrounding region by making the best use of U-M resources while attracting and retaining skilled workers, strengthening Michigan’s research enterprise and ensuring U-M’s national standing in scientific discovery for decades to come.
