What is considered contraband?
The following items will not be used or possessed by any BCT soldier in the battalion area: candy, chewing gum, soft drinks, playing cards, radios, cameras, tape/CD recorders/players, compact disks, headphones, televisions, books (not military in nature), or other similar items designated by your drill sergeant. No civilian or over the counter drugs (i.e., aspirin, Tylenol, nose drops, cold medications, cough drops, etc.) will be brought back to FT Leonard Wood. Only soldiers with physician prescribed medication are allowed and can be retained by the soldier. The use or possession of alcoholic beverages, marijuana or any controlled/illegal substance, and/or tobacco products of any kind is STRICTLY PROHIBITED! All soldiers will have a Urinalysis test upon return from EXODUS. Possession of a weapon or any instrument that can reasonably be viewed as a weapon is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
