Although the PS3 does not natively support discrete power commands, we have implemented a few macros that emulate specific functions. Since the PS3 does not currently have native support for discrete power commands, any solution probably won’t be 100% reliable. The ps3toothfairy does interpret and understand the Sony discrete DVD commands and maps those to PS3 power functions.
