What is a Mini-Site?
A mini-site is a website that has very few pages and is typically focused on the visitor completing one call to action. Usually a mini-site is created to promote a specific product or service. Frequently they are used to promote an affiliate product or information product but really they can be used for selling any product or service. Often their sole purpose is to generate leads with the main call to action being your visitor will add themselves to your opt-in mailing list. A mini-site is usually a static HTML website that contains a main sales page, a download page (if you are selling your own digital product), a privacy statement, earnings disclaimer/terms of use page and a contact page. The contact and privacy pages are mandatory pages required by search engines and in some countries it is the law to have these pages accessible to all visitors if you are doing any kind of commerce online.
