Metamorphosis Alpha (MA) was the precursor to Gamma World. Also created by James Ward it was set in a 30 mile long generation spaceship, the Warden. A radiation storm causes mutations to occur to its occupants creating the altered humans and the new animals. A lot of the ideas from MA were to find their way into Gamma World.
