How is Baxter around children?
A. Baxter is wonderful around children. Sometimes he jumps up on them to lick them (which we are trying to control) but overall if you introduce them to eachother and the child knows how to treat a dog (not to abuse or tease) it is the cutest thing to see. Baxter plays ball with our 1 year old nephew – but we always keep a sharp eye on him and the other kids while they are together because you never know just how hard the one year old will pull his tail or fur – and even a good natured dog like Baxter would probably nip to let him know that it hurts. Children are his kind of people – small, full of energy, and all they want to do is play – just like him!
