What do housing proxys do?
Housing proxys are appointed by students who are abroad from the University to choose their housing for the coming semester. Since the General Room Selection (GRS) system is mostly computerized, the proxy’s most important role will be selecting housing for the student at their designated Room Selection night. If you are entering Room Selection in a group with other students, you will not need to appoint a proxy, as only one member of a group needs to be present at that Room Selection night.
