What is the vocal audition?

In the vocal audition, you will sing a 1-minute portion of a musical theatre song. You need to bring accompaniment for your song on CD or tape (if on tape, please have it cued to start at the correct place). The accompaniment must be instrumental only (with no vocals on it.) It’s best to sing your song from memory, but if you need to you are allowed to sing from your sheet music. You’ll be singing in front of our two directors, not in front of any other auditionees.
