What is the Curriculum Planner?
The Curriculum Planner is a curriculum resource designed and produced by the Ontario Ministry of Education to assist teachers with planning and sharing classroom units based on the Ontario curriculum. The planner makes use of FileMaker Pro versions 4.0 or 4.1 to provide templates for writing curriculum and to access resources to assist in writing units in a standard format, which can be shared across the province. When FileMaker is processing a request, it will indicate that you should wait by displaying an hourglass with the letters Esc. It is saying that you should wait. FileMaker automatically saves your work. To use the Curriculum Planner you need to have 4 computer applications loaded into your computer. The Ministry licenses these programs for use in Ontario schools. These applications can be installed from the Curriculum Planner CD-ROM. If you already have one application loaded on your computer, you do not need to install it again. The four applications are: FileMaker Pro FileM
