How many hours do interns work?
We ask interns to work 12-15 hours a week, which is usually the amount of time required if they are earning college credit. These hours should preferably be done over the course of two days, i.e. Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday, so we can have some sort of consistent schedule. We generally have several editorial staff meetings on Tuesday, beginning at about 1 p.m., and it’s to your benefit to attend at least some of these meetings.
