What is C-MAP NT?
C-MAP NT is a professional database brought to the light marine market. It is derived from CM-93®, C-MAP’s SOLAS class database designed according to the principles of the International Hydrographic Organization standards on electronic charts. C-MAP NT is an Object Based Cartographic (OBC) format that has brought electronic charting to a new dimension. C-MAP NT organizes electronic charts in a horizontally seamless format with all of the benefits of a seamless database without the drawbacks. Faros, C-MAP’s data capture platform, permits the collection of data at 1/10th of a millimeter (0.10mm) resolution to ensure accurate reproduction of the original official chart information, where available.
