Who believes In Alien Abductions?
There are actually a lot of different beliefs about alien abduction, and a lot of debate about what it is. Some people believe that it is literally what it claims to be, little green spacemen (or giant lizards, sometimes) talking people from cars or their bedrooms and doing experiments on them. Personally, while some accounts are compelling, I find that most lack credibility. They are just too wild and incredible, and the level of risk/effort that the aliens would have to go to for so little gain just seems silly. Especially given what they are apparently looking for. For example, if aliens really were steeling sperm and eggs from people to build human alien hybrids, why not just raid a fertility clinic. And if they wanted other material then they could raid a science lab. Or even pay humans to start up a cover operation disguised as one.
