Why does my computer lock-up after I scan an image into ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 4.0 Software? The image scans without a problem, but my system locks-up with the PhotoDoc TWAIN window in the foreground.
When using the PhotoDoc TWAIN module with ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 4.0, you must select the PhotoDoc TWAIN preference option to “Dismiss TWAIN window after Scan-and-Transfer.” This is also the default TWAIN selection. If you de-select the option in order to keep the PhotoDoc TWAIN window up (for scanning without re-selecting the TWAIN Acquire Menu option), the system locks-up with the PhotoDoc TWAIN window in the foreground and the PHOTOSHOP window in the background after the image transfers to PHOTOSHOP. To exit, cancel (Close) the PhotoDoc TWAIN window. If you are unable to close the PhotoDoc TWAIN window by normal means, you has to use the Close Program Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del) to close (End Task) the PhotoDoc TWAIN window and also the Twunk_16 driver. To avoid this situation you must select to “Dismiss TWAIN window after Scan-and-Transfer.” • My PhotoDoc Color Scanner won’t work with my color printer.
