Bluetooth technology makes transferring large files such as music files a lot more convenient. You can use Bluetooth to transfer music anywhere there are other Bluetooth devices. You will not have to install any Bluetooth software if your phone is Bluetooth enabled; however, if your PC is not Bluetooth enabled, you’ll have to install Bluetooth manually. Enable Bluetooth on your cell phone. Depending on the make and model of your phone, your Bluetooth options will either be under tools, settings, connections or extras. Phones such as the Motorola Rokr E8 will have Bluetooth listed under their shortcuts menu. Enable Bluetooth on your PC. This is normally done by clicking the function key and F3 on a Bluetooth-enabled PC. If you don’t have a Bluetooth-enabled PC, you will need to purchase a Bluetooth Dongle. This is an external Bluetooth device that you plug in to your PC’s USB port to enable the Bluetooth connection. Follow the onscreen prompts to properly install your Bluetooth Dongle.
