Why is PIXXOS so small and quick?

The entire PIXXOS development system is built extremely compact. It contains all at run-time necessary routines and needs (except in the internet-mode) no further external modules. The size of the run-time module amounts to only approx. 185 KB – in the internet-mode only 27 KB are added. That is all! Inclusiding editor, exemaker and run-time player the system needs only approx. 800 KB. With the assistance environment and various samples compressed it still fits on a normal 1.44mb-disk or is loaded with a 56KBit-Modem in round about less than 10 minutes completely from the internet. Thus PIXXOS is the smallest 4GL-multimedia-compiler of the world. Success is always the principle “of the short ways”, too. Speed tests showed clearly that PIXXOS may rank itself easily among the fastest multimedia systems of the world. It was measured: in 800×600 on a standard-2-gigahertz Pentium III a fullscreen-set of 10×10 (100) tiles was drawed 5,000 times per second (!!). Try this with e.g.
