Milton S. Hersey kept working on his chocolate bar formula until he found the right mixture of cocoa, milk, and sugar. Milton Hersey introduced his Hersey chocolate bar in 1900. The Hersey bar was so popular that by 1906 he established a community for his workers known as Hersey, Pennsylvania.
