Does the CSC offer travel courses?
We are planning on offering several travel courses over Christmas Break 2010 and the summer of 2011. Tour England and visit the home of C. S. Lewis and the Oxford Circle. Visit New Testament sites throughout Greece and Turkey. Study the history, philosophy, and important movements of the Church as you tour the sites in Europe where they occurred. Go to Israel and be a part of an archaeological dig in the Gaza Strip. These courses are designed to deeply engage students by providing an unparalleled opportunity of travel and firsthand encounters.
Yes. The C. S. Lewis Experience travel course (July 2011) will allow students from around the country to earn 3 credit hours in just 9 days while touring Oxford and London. Students will have the opportunity to explore the life of C. S. Lewis, one of the most influential Christian thinkers, apologists, storytellers, and theologians of the 20th century while visiting the sites where he lived and worked. Students will be able to customize the course to their degree plans, earning either English or Philosophy credit during their time in England.
