Is glock 17 a weak gun?
There are a few things to consider. It’s not the gun that’s weak, but the bullet usually. The .45 ACP, for example is a large bullet, but it doesn’t move very fast. therefore it punches big holes in the target and often staying in them leaving a much worse wound. The 9mm bullet is a fast bullet, so fast that it breaks the sound barrier. the faster the bullet is, the greater the tendency is for it to go farther through a target. It doesn’t make as big of a hole in the target and it doesn’t stay in the target as often, so it may do less damage. That is no reason to under estimate it, though, because it’s still a bullet and it still hits hard. Plus the 9mm is cheaper and tends to have a greater magazine capacity. Since the glock fires this bullet, it’s still something that you dont want to be on the receiving end of.
