What regulations apply to hand luggage?
On flights from European airports, there are restrictions on taking liquids and gel-type products (personal care products and cosmetics) into the cabin: • The capacity printed on the containers must not exceed 100 ml. • All containers must be transported in a transparent resealable plastic bag with a maximum capacity of one litre. • The bag must be presented for inspection separately at the security check. • Each person is allowed only one bag. Medicines and special food like baby food are an exception. These can be kept outside the plastic bag and must be presented for inspection at the security check. If you buy duty-free articles at the airport or on board, these can be taken into the cabin in a sealed bag provided you have a receipt showing that they were purchased on the day of travel.
