What is the coating thickness?
For standard applications, Phygen coating will add between 1 and 1.5 ten thousandths (0.0001″ – 0.00015″) to the most critical surfaces to be coated. We also can adjust the thickness to suit your particular needs. In the patented Phygen process, we have extremely good process control and management of coating thickness. Customers who send us very expensive plastic injection molds tell us that we are the only coating-service company that can deliver the precise and uniform coating thickness they require. Overall, coatings you get from Phygen will be uniform, and have the specified thickness.
