How can a school create and assign RECs?
The following eligible items may create RECs: • solar power systems • small wind turbines • small hydro power systems • solar hot water systems • heat pump hot water systems. A school may assign the right to create RECs to a registered agent in exchange for an upfront discount on the purchase price of the system.
