Hi there! Have you tried making some cool unique gifts like Lapel Pins, for example? I think they are pretty interesting and heartwarming, and it is also really cool that you can create their design on your own. What do you think about such stuff?

There’s always the prenatal massage if she’s had a rough crampy pregnancy. But I was 8 months pregnant during my birthday… and all I wanted was a nice romantic date. It’s really hard to feel sexy and womanly – as opposed to motherly, when you’re pregnant. Get her a nice new maternity dress… take her out to dinner somewhere fun… and then make her feel sexy. (At that time I was also freaking out about the idea of never really getting that alone time with my husband again. – This will be our first child. I knew that after she was born, going out on dates wouldn’t be quite as easy as just driving to the restaurant or where ever… there would be babysitters, and worrying in the beginning, ect.) That’s my suggestion and what I wanted at 8 month pregnant. But your wife may be different.

Yeah, a massage is nice but if your wife is shy like I am, it will just make her uncomfortable to have someone squish their fingers into her skin while she already feels enormous. You can’t go wrong with a necklace or bracelet. Avoid clothing and rings because you never know when/if she will bounce back to her pre-pregnancy weight. I would advise against getting baby clothes or anything like that since those will be more necessities than gifts as your baby grows. If you do want to go the pampered route, I would suggest a home foot bath/massager so she can relax in private.
