Will Ibuprofen harm a dog?
DO NOT give your dog ANY human medications. If the dog has a swollen foot, the causes are many, such as the following: broken leg sprained bruised joint infection bee sting prickle torn ligaments/tendons stretched ligaments/tendons cartilage damage dislocation overextension of the joint and there a re many more. If you do not want to pay for a vet bill, the only thing you can do is lock the dog up to limit him using the leg. If you do not see and improvement in 2-3 days, or if he continues to get worse, it is serious (ie an infection) and the only thing to do is go to the vet and have him properly diagnose the dog.
