What is Roxarsone?
Roxarsone is used only when necessary, which can be as little as 3 months out of the year. It is used to: • Maintain product quality and consistency, ensuring humane care. Without it, chickens would suffer more frequent and serious illness and flock health would be compromised. • Improve food safety by fighting off strains of disease, when left unchecked, can raise levels of salmonella in chicken. • Reduce the need for antibiotic treatments.
