IS THE SMARTLIPO PROCEDURE SAFE?
Smartlipo is very safe. Due to the small size of the cannula, the procedure is minimally invasive and can be performed under local anesthesia. This differentiates it from typical liposuction procedures which must be done under general anesthesia and therefore carry far greater risks. Also, the laser used causes small blood vessels to coagulate immediately on contact which results in less bleeding, swelling and bruising, and minimal to no down time.
