Who is Black Tom?
Red: He’s also dead. Ever notice how most of X-Force’s major enemies are dead? Well, Black Tom’s real name is Tom Cassidy. He was Sean Cassidy’s first cousin, and raised Siryn. He had the power initially to shoot nasty energy beams out of his cane, but eventually he didn’t need the cane to use his power anymore. Anyway, about his past. Tommy fell in love with Maeve Rourke, but she chose to marry Sean instead. This made Tommy really jealous of his cuz. And that jealousy is the reason why Tom kept on trying to kill Sean. So, after Maeve dies in an IRA bombing and Sean leaves the country, Tommy raises baby Terry. He really loves her, but eventually gets so involved with illegal activities he sends her off to boarding school so she won’t find out about it. A few years later, he gets arrested and sent to jail, where he meets Juggernaut. They become best buds, and break out of prison together. Tommy tries to murder his cousin Sean at Cassidy Keep while the X-Men are there, he and Juggy cause
