Can any one tell me if my theory is right on middle eat and Israel?
The fact is…the only real interests that the U.S. has in the middle east are: 1) Keeping Jerusalem an open city. 2) Oil. The rest of it actually is a result of trying to attain those two things. Now here is an important fact: The U.S. has already committed to alternative fuel. That switch will be very evident in the next 10-15 years. When you see used electric cars sitting on the lots…that will be most of the battle. The one thing we will need oil for is aviation fuel, and no one has come up with a fix for that. My point is that the same technology is going to spread to Europe, China, Russia, Africa etc. So…in 20 years, especially when we get that jet thing worked out, the Middle East will go back to being a desert. The infidels will be gone. the oil business will be dwindling, and the terrorist business will be pretty much pointless (for all but a few nuts). So…why put all of that effort into attacking a desert.
