Is Maps 2.0 free?
Mapping and routing in Maps 2.0 is free. When Maps uses a mobile internet connection, large amounts of data may be downloaded to your mobile device, resulting in costs arising from the download. See our FAQ on how to keep such costs down and contact your network provider for more information about your data plan. A flashing symbol in the lower right corner of the screen tells you when data transfer is taking place and how much data has been downloaded.
