Yes, Francis Drake was a slave trader. His method was as follows. Drake would sale from Plymouth with a ship load of goodies and sail to the West African coast. The goodies were exchanged for slaves. The slaves were then shipped out to the Carribean slave island of Jamaica etc where they were sold.
