WHAT IS CADET CHALLENGE?
Cadet Challenge is the Physical Education portion of the JROTC curriculum. One day per week, each class will participate in some form of exercise. Throughout the year, each Cadet will participate in the “Presidents Fitness Challenge”. Cadets who meet the standards will be awarded the Presidents Fitness Challenge patch. Cadet Challenge events include a 1-mile walk/run, push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups/dead hang, shuttle run and seated reach (flexibility test). To maintain interest and variety, Cadets will periodically participate in a fitness circuit.
