What is exponential decay?
Exponential Decay, in the context of this site, is the process of valuing older games by less than more recent ones. The amount by which you devalue older games is called the decay and is applied relative to the game played immediately afterwards. e.g. Using a 10% decay, the most recent game counts for full weighting, the second most recent games counts for 10% less (90%) and the third for 10% less than the second (81%), the fourth is 10% less than the third (73%) etc.
