What is the Face Detect function?
It is a function to detect the faces of the subjects when shooting. Based on this detection, your camera automatically adjusts the focus, flash, exposure, pre-strobe for red-eye reduction, and so on. Notes: • The Face Detect function is only available in the auto adjustment mode or the Soft Snap mode (Scene Selection). • The maximum number of the faces that can be detected is 8 in the auto adjustment mode and 2 in the Soft Snap mode.
