How do I enter ticker symbols for unusual types of securities?
• If the stock is traded on NASDAQ, enter the same 4 – 5 character symbol. • If the stock is traded on the NYSE or AMEX, enter the same 1 – 3 character symbol. • If the stock is a Class A, Class B or Class C stock, enter the base symbol followed by a slash “/” and “A,” “B” or “C,” etc. Note that NASDAQ Class A or B stock has an A or B in the 5th character. • If the stock is a Preferred stock, enter the base symbol followed by a slash “/” and “PR” for Preferred.
