BotaniGard 22WP contains spores of the insect parasitic fungus – Beauveria bassiana strain GHA. After an application of BotaniGard, the spores will contact and adhere to the target insect. Within hours the spore will germinate, penetrating the cuticle (external surface or skin) of the insect. The fungus grows within the insect body, overwhelming and killing the insect. The BotaniGard 22WP spores do not infect other organisms including humans, pets, birds and other animals.
