What is video dubbing?
One section of the Media Library is the Dubbing Centre. The videos in the database that begin with letter “V” such as V1234 are dubbing titles for which we have purchased a license to make copies. The minimal cost associated with this service is for the videotapes that are used. Once copied, the programs are then the property of the school/teacher. Depending on the length of the program, several video programs can be recorded onto one tape. Dubbing videos can be ordered in the same manner as loan titles (see above). Video programs are generally shipped within 5 business days of receipt of the order. We record on standard play only to ensure the best possible video and sound quality. A T120 video cassette will record up to two hours (120 minutes) of programming. Please arrange the titles you request in the order they should appear on the tape.
