A year to date (1/1/09 – 5/19/10 and 1/1/10 – 5/19/10) comparative analysis of the areas including and surrounding Mary Munford, William Fox and Maymont elementary schools was conducted. Munford reported 6 incidents in 2009 compared to 7 this year; Maymont reported 11 incidents in 2009 compared to 14 this year and William Fox reported 48 incidents compared to 56 this year. Richmond Public Schools will continue to work with local police officials to ensure a safe environment.
