What are uilt-in vs. OBD metrics?
‘Metrics’, in a scientific sense, refer to parts of a system of measurement. In Rev terms, ‘metrics’ are vehicle measurements. • ‘Built-in’ metrics refer to measurements that can be read from native iPhone/iPod touch hardware, like the accelerometer and GPS services (iPhone only). • ‘OBD’ metrics refer to the vehicle ECU measurements that can be taken with the proper OBD-II WLAN hardware.
