How Do You Adjust Andis Clippers?
Andis clippers are professional hand-held grooming devices normally used to trim men’s hair, and sometimes animal fur. While these hair trimmers are generally reliable, after a while they can begin to wear and cause a rattling sound, signaling that the blade has loosened and needs readjusting. The steps below should help you adjust your Andis clippers to their former working order. Remove the attachable blade from the Andis clipper handle. Open the pair of pliers to a wide setting so they are ready to pry the blade’s socket ears together. Locate the two rectangular ears (small, raised metal parts) on the blade’s socket which are spread apart and use the pliers to slightly pinch the two ears toward one another. Re-attach the blade to the clipper handle and turn the clippers back on to make sure they are running smoothly again. Repeat the above steps if you find that the clipper blade still needs adjusting or is making a rattling sound.
