What Java Apps run on the A1200?
The following is a small sample of java applet programs that run correctly on the A1200 (These are all utilities – games are listed further down). In theory, all j2me applets should run successfully – but many do not due to them being coded to use the phone’s hard number keys (which A1200 does not have!). The sites www.getjar.com and mobile9 have hundreds of freeware/shareware programs that supposedly work – but many only have limited functionality. Superfly has also gathered together a big list of links to apps that have been uploaded to this forum over past year in this post – although some of these may not work very well on the A1200. The following list of apps have been verified as working correctly on the A1200. All are available for free.
