(Back to top) CDH is a broad term given to a new trend in healthcare offerings that employs economic principles behind consumerism. The idea is that if a consumer is a) conscious of the cost of care and b) has to manage the money he or she spends on healthcare, whether it’s subsidized by an employer or their own money, then the consumer will be more sensitive to prices, quality and overall spending.
