BBFC stands for the British Board of Film Classification. We are Members of BBFC.online. This is a voluntary Scheme run by the British Board of Film Classification to give consumers clear information about the content of films, programmes and other video works, using BBFC classification symbols and consumer advice in a way that consumers are familiar with from DVDs and film-going. The Scheme helps people to make informed decisions about their own and their children’s internet viewing, and seeks to ensure that works with an age-restricted classification (e.g. ’12’, ’15’, ’18’) are not supplied to any person below that age.
