The freshman 15 is real! I’m sure some of you are going through it. It seems impossible to shake. There are ways to shed those extra pounds and it isn’t too late to start. Here are good tips. First, change the eating habits! It’s easy to go to the food establishment and eat the limitless buffet. Late night eating is horrible for your body as well. Replace the pizza with chicken or real meat. Pick fruit over ice cream. Get your vegetables!!! When we come to college, we indulge in greasy food. Don’t fall into that trap! Late night eating is bad. Your metabolism slows down after dinner. If you need to eat something late, just have jello or fruit. Replace soda or alcohol, god forbid, with water or sports drinks. We need water to survive, not Mountain Dew! Exercise three times a week! I know that there are times that we just lay around in our dorms. Go run a couple of miles.
