Does RUFF offer a local pruning clinic?
While trees are still small, pruning may be within the capacity of homeowners. Roseville residents do have opportunities to learn practical techniques for pruning young trees. Roseville Urban Forest Foundation (RUFF) and Roseville Electric sponsor local pruning clinics. Proper pruning contributes to the health, longevity, and appearance of trees. Clinics will focus on from-the-ground pruning, tree shape, equipment, and tree selection. Pruning clinics are usually offered in the winter, check our Community Events page for details. All clinics are free of charge and open to the public.
