How does IB compare to AP?
Both IB and AP are programs widely recognized as providing rigorous curriculum to high school students. Colleges frequently award college credit for both IB and AP courses. AP offers a broad range of subject-specific classes from which students may select according to their interests. IB offers a complete Diploma Programme in which students study a broad range of courses in an interdisciplinary model with an emphasis on international-mindedness and the development of the whole learner.
