Yes, The Chaplaincy Department is part of an interdisciplinary team that supports the needs, well-being and dignity of each person. Fairhaven welcomes people of all faiths and encourages the spiritual life of each resident. We offer worship services that are appropriate to each level of care and sensitive to the diversity of religious and spiritual backgrounds. Chaplains visit residents who are ill or in area hospitals providing spiritual counsel to them and their families. Fairhaven provides and supports a variety of religious education programs for residents. Weekly Episcopal services are held in the Fairhaven Chapel and in the Health Center Chapel. Although these are liturgies of the Episcopal Church, people of all faiths and denominations are welcome to attend services at any time. A weekly ecumenical service is held on Sunday mornings in the Auditorium at 11:00 a.m. This service seeks to incorporate elements of the various denominations into its order of worship. Communion is offe
