Why is The College of William and Mary going to eBilling as the official billing method?
There are several reasons why The College has decided to make eBill the official billing method. The primary reason is to provide faster and easier service to our students. The vast majority of students are familiar and comfortable with the web culture. It has become commonplace to perform many daily transactions and communications via e-mail and the internet. Many universities and institutions around the country are using electronic billing as their primary method of billing. Another reason is that many other applications and processes at the college are paperless or electronic so eBill just continues this.
