How Do You Identify Corelle Patterns?
Corelle patterns have been popular since the 1970’s. Their popularity was largely due to the designs and durability of the product. There is a variety of corelle patterns that are used on different dinnerware sets throughout the years. In order to identify corelle patterns, look for the patterns they are best known for. Look for bands around the rims of dinnerware such as cups, plates, and bowls. There is always at least one band around each product up to three bands. If there are more than one band of color around the rims of the plate then one is usually thinner than another. Notice the floral patterns on the center of the plates and bowls. These floral designs consist of two to three soft colors such as turquoise, yellow, and light green. The floral designs are very simple designs.
