Where can I buy Aquarium Snails?
Please reconsider getting the snail. I had a snail infestation in my tank and they did not control the algae. It took me forever to get rid of the snails as they started reproducing worse than rabbits. They laid eggs all over (on the glass, in the gravel, on the plants and even under the gravel filter). I tried completely draining the tank and cleaning the glass but each time I though I had them killed they would reappear. Out of desperation I even dumped a gallon of bleach in the tank (with the fish removed of course) and letting the bleach water sit for a couple of hours thinking this would kill them. Nope, some survived and began reproducing again. What finally got rid of them was introducing two Clown Loaches to the tank as they eat snails.
