How Do You Make A Cone-Shaped Paper Hat?
One of the most iconic party decorations is the festive cone-shaped hat. A staple of children’s parties, cone hats are fun for all ages. While there are a wide variety of hats available ready-made at party supply shops, crafting a cone shape party hat at home, to match the party’s theme, is simple and just requires basic materials you probably have on hand. You can also get as creative as you’d like in embellishing the hat. Measure and draw a triangle with pencil on the thick paper that is approximately 12 inches high and about 19 inches wide at the base. Erase the 19-inch line at the bottom and redraw a rounded line that curves gently from one leg of the triangle to the other. Cut along the line. Use this as a template to trace and cut as many of the hats as you will need. Apply a thin layer of glue along one edge of the triangle, from base to point.
