Colombian Salsa originates from Cali, the Salsa capital of the world. Colombian Salsa involves fast footwork and fast spins, known as Pachanga, or the original salsa from the 1960’s, known as the Boogaloo. Colombian style is much closer, where both dancers bodies are almost completely touching each other, from head to toe. Colombian Salsa involves a lot of punchy footwork and less turn patterns.
